File Maker PRO
File Maker Pro is a database used organize and analyze information such as an inventory, grade sheet and datebook. In our Design Project Center we use a database to keep track of projects, clients and that students that work on a project. FileMaker Pro is a computer program that allows you to create and design databases.
I think this will be a very useful, helpful program to have. I like that you can create your own layouts and design. It’s good to be able to have that control in a program.
When using FileMaker Pro you can use four modes in the creation of a database.
• Browse is the working mode that you enter, edit, sort and view data.
• Find is how you locate a record.
• Layout is where you design the layout of your database
• Preview you can see what it will look like when printed out.
Using these four modes you can create and design a database that will keep you organized and informed.
